Launching another GUI login Session using GDM
By Pratik Shivarkar | Labels: Desktop, Gnome, Linux, Open Source, UbuntuLaunch another GUI session in your current one. Sounds stupid, why anyone would do that? I have no idea.. but I know how to do that. Its quite simple, (Yeah and its quite useful too, so you must at least try it once.)
You can use this feature, if you want to try out multiple desktop environments simultaneously, or login another user account which you have access, because everybody can not have root / administrator access.
Simply run following command...
gdmflexiserver --xnest
This will open a new login window

now login...
